1 packet of extra firm tofu Per serving of halloumi: - 1 tsp Lemon juice - 1 tsp Nutritional yeast - 1 tsp Onion powder
Squeeze all the water out of the tofu (try using kitchen roll or a clean t towel wrapped around the tofu and press to absorb the water). Freeze the tofu, then let thaw and squeeze out any remaining water (feezing helps give it a rubbery texture). Make a thick marinade paste out of the lemon juice, nutritional yeast and onion powder. Paint each piece of tofu with the marinade then drizzlee any remaining marinade over them as well. Let sit for 15 minutes in marinade. Lightly grill for 2 minutes on each side. Eat and enjoy!.
