Matavino is a small boutique vineyard producing vegan-certified wines.
Nestled on gentle north-facing slopes in the famous Matakana Wine region. Our vision is to grow a variety of wines to match the local food and produce. This includes the red italian grape varieties Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Dolcetto from the Piedmont area, as well as the French white varieties of Viognier and Chardonnay. The vines are hand-nurtured by family and friends using sustainable practices. All Matavino wines are Vegan certified.
